This SLSA looks at the links between the sustainable livelihoods approach and the design and implementation of a long-term relief programme in Zimbabwe. As the developmental dimension of relief receives increasing attention, it is appropriate to reflect and learn from a complex, protracted relief situation with a priority focus on addressing poverty.
