This policy forum workshop concluded the 45 months work of the four country partners involved in the Community-based Worker (CBW) action-research project – Kenya, Lesotho, South African and Uganda. These countries have been exploring how services can be widened using a community-based worker approaches on a sustainable basis, and strengthening of the linkages between communities, local government and service providers both in terms improving participatory governance and improving service delivery.
