Investigating Pro-Poor LED in South Africa

Khanya-aicdd, in collaboration with University of Witwatersrand, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Manguang Local Municipality (MLM) and South African Local Government Association (SALGA) has been researching how pro-poor LED is interpreted and applied on the ground in South Africa. The urban aspect of the research was funded by the World Bank and a complementary rural component is being funded by the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA).

The project has been supported by a reference group comprising SALGA, MLM, Department of Provincial and Local Government (dplg), Local Government SETA, and the DBSA.
