Thevan Naidoo, Learning & Sharing Practice Manager is attending an international conference that aims to examine the frameworks, methods and tools that guide impact evaluation practice. As an international meeting, it also provides an opportunity for Africans to come together to examine approaches to impact evaluation in line with the statement released at the Fourth AfrEA Conference in Niamey (2007), which urged stakeholders to ensure that the foundations for Africa-rooted and Africa-led evaluation are strengthened by focusing on African values and ways of constructing knowledge.

This meeting is being held in Cairo, Egypt from 29 - 31 March 2009.
