Following from this, two of our practice areas are informed by the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach and the six governance issues. These practices are:
- Agriculture, Natural Resources and Food Security – primarily assisting small scale farmers to produce for subsistence and for sale, focusing on improving farmer-farmer extension and on access to markets. ….
- Local Economic Development - promoting innovative approaches to local economic development which build on the assets and opportunities in local communities.
